Wendy graduated in 1994 from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1989. Growing up in southeastern Saskatchewan on a small farm, Wendy knew early on what she was to be in the future. She and her husband Chris bought a ranch south of McCord in 2010, and Wendy has been a fixture at PVAC since the fall of 2010. Wendy enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and truly loves her work. She supervises undergraduates from the WCVM during their 4th year rotation, hoping to instill the love of veterinary medicine to upcoming veterinarians. Her greatest pastime involves her Border Collies and Jack Russell Terriers. Stockdog trialing has allowed her to compete across North America and represent Canada at the World's in the United Kingdom in 2010. Wendy has brought her passion to Mankota yearly with organizing the annual Hilltop Sheepdog Trial.
